What image resolution do I need for a full-wall mural?
The important factor is having enough total image resolution for the final wall dimensions without visible pixelation.
Very small source images should not simply be enlarged to mural size.
Can custom wallpaper be cropped differently depending on the wall size?
Yes.
A design uploaded for one wall proportion may need cropping or repositioning when used on a wall with a different aspect ratio.
Important subjects, text, and focal points should therefore be kept away from the extreme edges of the artwork.
What happens if my wall measurements are slightly wrong?
Walls are rarely perfectly square, so ordering exactly the measured dimensions can leave gaps if the ceiling, floor, or corners are uneven.
How do I make sure a wallpaper pattern lines up between panels?
Pattern-heavy designs need more careful alignment than abstract or low-detail artwork, so leaving a small amount of adjustment room during installation helps avoid visible jumps between panels.
Can custom wallpaper be installed on textured walls?
Light texture may work depending on the material, but heavily textured walls can prevent proper adhesion and make seams or bumps more visible.
For peel-and-stick wallpaper especially, testing a sample first is recommended.
